       @melmc The thing that worries me about Bitcoin is that all authorities have to do is kill the Bitcoin network and it is history.Instead, I'd prefer holding politicians accountable for creating all this debt. I can't think of any other way to solve the problem.

       @sigma How will the authorities kill the bitcoin network? Furthermore, I see your comment as a false dichotomy, i.e. it is not an either/or situation but a both/and situation. We can work on strengthening bitcoin and hold politicians accountable for creating all this debt.

       @melmc They would be able to deny network access to any Bitcoin machines. I’m sure they could bend the arms of big telecom to achieve that at least in the US and probably much of Europe.
