#Suntember musing.Got a Sun Netra X1 for just 50€ from a private seller in Rome. He offered to deliver it to me personally. The server came with Solaris 8 preinstalled, but I wanted to have a modern system on it. In lack of an optical drive, I set up a serial console to the Sun LOM, and took up the challenge of installing NetBSD over network, via DHCP/RARP and NFS [1]. @xiled Any plans? I wonder how well would Solaris 10 run on it.

@sehnsucht I'm not sure where I left off with the Netra, but I'll probably wipe it and put OpenBSD. Solaris would probably work fine, just slow, especially if you use a GUI. I still have Solaris 10 on the Ultra 10 to tinker with.
