@jessecoynelson As long as he doesn't slice his hands open, let him do his thing 😅 Though there was a brief period when my brother was around 6 that he insisted he needed a Bratz doll (probably from seeing a million ads every day). My mom eventually gave in and got him a boy doll and he got over it pretty fast.

@LadyButters @jessecoynelson My son wanted some doll (I forgot wether it was a Barbie or Bratz or something else) and my gay (lefty) brother would tease me that he was gay, the thing is, 1st thing he would do with the doll when he got it was take its clothes off! lol! BTW, he is not gay. Let the kids play, unless it will hurt them.

@LadyButters Growing up in the 80's and being into Star Wars, we all had the "action figures" (boys' dolls). Empire Strikes Back came out in '80, so we were 6 years old then. It would be hilarious to see now what story line games we played with those Star Wars figures. I would insist that all figures be picked when we picked them. Princess Leah would always be picked last.My one friend, if he got her, would grudgingly take her... and have one of the other action figures whack her early on.

@Salyer @jessecoynelson It's weird how that gets projected onto boys but if girls want to play with toy guns, trucks, etc., there's much less of a stigma.

@jessecoynelson I'm sure you know the word "action figure" was invented when GI Joe came around because boys didn't like dolls. 😉 I've heard the whining about the lack of female characters in those product lines. It's because they don't sell as well, duh.
