       @pixelWhat is making people think that ∃ S : (S ≠ "fediverse") ∧ (D(S) ≠ D(X)) (Where S is any social network and D being the fate/doom function of any given social network) holds? Sidenote: I am first time great full that X makes some sense looking at it this way... Then again X|F(X)="twitter" could also the place the "X formerly twitter"

       @pixel In my experience/circle, at least in terms of content creators, Bluesky is just empty!? A lot of content creators I follow abandoned Bluesky after using it for a week. At least Fedi is somewhat consistently used, if not by many. Just my limited experience, of course.

       @Zektus@bark.lgbt @pixel@desu.social I also think it doesn't help that bluesky is completely locked down, so you can't even look at people's profiles and whether they're actually posting. But maybe that's the point, create interest by hiding everything and needing invites, so people don't see that barely anyone is using it.

       @tea @Zektus FOMO probably plays a lot into itand the fact that it is a carbon copy of Twitter, with less features. Kinda gets people nostalgic I guess.

       @pixel people either do not know about the fediverse, or, according to something I saw somewhere, some people are boomers when it comes down to making an account for Mastodon and have no idea how to get started. I myself made several accounts, not knowing that I only needed one to see every instance.
