@zorothemighty it's not THAT expensive, but depends from brand to brandi usually buy столичная if i'm drinking vodka in particular, and that's around like 350 rubles for 0.7 liters

@zorothemighty lol, under 50 rubles per can for a cheap beerthere's plenty of variety, there's beer based drinks, there's formerly alcoholic energy drinks, stripped of caffeine and taurine, also plenty of cognac, vodka, whiskey, etc.all of it should be cheaper than where you're at, i guess if russia wasn't hated, we'd be a common tourist stop for those who wanna get shitfaced for cheap

@lina Russia is an underrated tourist destination, but I'm a massive history nerd and casual alcoholic. If I earned USD/EUR in Russia, I would make sure to make the local economy stronk af. Unfortunately I cannot pronounce Russian very well (ш vs щ is hard)

@lina I've been told by my (ex) bf that in casual speech most people don't notice/care. I hope that's true, in Russian I use a lot of "masculine"/"rude" slang and swear a lot in casual speech
