       A thing about me is, I'm an extravert who thrives meeting strangers in liminal, crowded places like clubs, concerts, cons, planes, and laundromats; and who also happens to have a sense of community mindedness and an understanding of the social dynamics of public health failures as an oppressive and marginalizing force.So as you can imagine, the last 4 years have been pretty great.

       @Wolven just talking to my research partner about how remote work has been a great solution for us with childcare responsibility, but have atrophied ability to do things once competent at like public speaking in person. Causing a lot of unnecessary anxiety as I give more IRL talks. There should be resources on how to re-train for in person work/socializing for those of us who’ve lost ability. It’s frustrating.

       @Wolven feel for you, as a very introverted person, if the opposite happened and the world suddenly became "you can NOT be alone, you must be in a crowded club" I'd lose my sanity.

       @Wolven The thing about the "everyone should be allowed to work from home forever" argument is, the need for in-person school instruction punctures it.
