       @lowqualityfacts  Years ago I was sitting at counter at Duke&#39;s on Sunset Blvd., Sunset Strip. Only other person at counter was Tom Hanks, he had cap on, was reading CATCHER IN THE RYE intently. I think it was when he was filming PHILADELPHIA, from what little I saw of his hair.

       @lowqualityfacts Fun fact: The scene in Forrest Gump where Forrest ran through America and gathered a following was not acted. It was real footage of Tom Hanks trying to outrun the people who wanted to asked him if he haunts their dreams. He tried that for two years straight. Zemeckis heard about that, filmed it, and bought the rights to the Forrest Gump book to write a movie arround the footage. That&#39;s why this scene doesn&#39;t exist in the book.
