Is it hard to eat meat substitutes that often? I used to occasionally get a meatless burger, but sometimes "pretty close" isn't enough. I am not in any danger of becoming vegan, but I'd definitely favor more restaurants serving more vegan foods that don't pretend to be meat-based.

@LurkPerry @alex Perhaps I'm just being an idiot, but wasn't chicken already a plant -based product. I mean, you start with a single fertilised egg, feed that with plant-based materials, grow it into a full-grown chicken, and then make this chicken into a meal. It's just biologically processed food really.
