@og if you want to replace a Ubuntu partition with mint, just know what partition label it is. The new OS installer should also be able to read the partition and let you know what it is when doing the install. Going into a live boot first will help identify the partitions. You can overwrite the partition or choose the whole disk when installing. Always try the live boot first before installing.

@og if you want to remove a partition, gparted is a good one. Identify the partition, format, then extend the os partition you want to keep. if you want to stop dual booting and use just the one OS.

@og Iād go into the live boot of Mint and pretend to do the install or disk partitioning to see what the Windows partition is and how the install and format selection looks like. Leave a backup of allllll your data and anything from Windows you might need or want if things go south. Or just get rid of Windows! š
