@StillIRise1963 I feel like people are acting out against the system (the thing that keeps bringing us the "lesser of 2 evils" choices) and because the system sucks they just want another way... ANY WAYWith our current climate this is short sided! We are doing triage of the country here my friends of the internet. Do I wish he wasn't shot? Sure... but like we need to stop the bleeding then figure the rest out... Because if we don't it's not going to matter about anything else. 🤔

But!Considering everything he is most certainly not bad and absolutely gives a shit. Only problem is a populous who is already getting very stabby is not going to care about any of that if nothing is "accomplished" (at least in their mind).

Biden does not have the power to do all he wants, and he has to compromise with total assholes in order to get anything done at all.As such, he will never be “good” enough for these people, and there’s no point trying. They don’t even want to be satisfied. If he passed one of their litmus tests, they’d just raise the bar until he failed.

@StillIRise1963 even if he is able to fully maintain all of his mental faculties, behind the scenes - which based on his performance, on camera, I have serious doubts about - it's negatively effected public opinion of him, which, for a politician in a democracy, is a large part of his job to maintain, unfortunately. I'd say he's getting better stuff done than any American president has, in my lifetime - but I don't think he's performing as well as he could have, as a younger man - and not ideal

@StanWonn @StillIRise1963 thinking more about this and it really does speak to the divide and conquer strategy that has been employed against people since time immemorial. The Afrikaans in South Africa put a lot of effort into trying to keep the blacks, the coloureds and Indians fighting amongst themselves during the apartheid years. We need to be vigilant and remain focussed on the problem at hand FASCISM.
