@EU_Commission I really hope this gave your efforts towards decarbonizing the industry a real boost. Those blast furnaces had to be overhauled to work with hydrogen, like, 10 years ago! And get rid of the fucking kerosene subsidies already and kick everyones' butt for the inter-european rail program (especially Germany!), we need all of that preferably yesterday! #ClimateCatastrophe

@EU_CommissionIt would be much better if we where able to plan "to get rid of any dependency on fossil fuels".Not just choosing the "nicer" polluter.

Thank you, @CiaobyDany! The EU aims to be climate-neutral by 2050. This is at the heart of the European Green Deal. Our REPowerEU plan aims, among others, to accelerate the phasing out of fossil fuels. 🇪🇺🫶🌍

Following President von der Leyen's pledge at the State of the Union 2022. we proposed last March the reform of the EU electricity market design to ensure that this transition happens as quickly as possible.Our REPowerEU plan also aims at accelerating the phasing out.
