       @gnulinux Ich benutze Linux seit 1996. Anfangs experimentierte ich noch mit fvwm2, danach Gnome2, das gar nicht schlecht war. Mit Gnome3 suchte ich eine Alternative. KDE kam nie infrage. So kam ich auf den XFCE, den ich bis heute benutze. Auch auf dicken Rechnern, ich finde bei den grphischen Oberflächen ganz oft, daß weniger mehr ist. Ich bin da sehr schnell überfordert, da ist XFCE eben aufgeräumter. Bis heute, da wurden auch keine Experimente gemacht. Es ist schlank und es läuft super. ;-)

       @gnulinux auf meinem uralt Rechner braucht Open Suse 98% nur um zu laufen, deswegen hab i vor 2 Jahren mal xfce versucht und bin dabei geblieben, der schnellste is er nach wie vor nicht, aber alle Programme laufen, vom Firefox mit ublock, Thunderbird, Libreoffice bis viking, Josm und QGis.
