I fucking hate cutscenes and lorefaggotry in general.I remember the rough campaign structure of TIE Fighter because if you didn't pay attention to briefings you would fuck up. I remember System Shock because if you weren't paying attention to details you would laser the Earth or die in an ambush. I remember Thief lore because you picked it up in-game and it was relevant to gameplay.I remember fucking nothing about Dark Souls, Armoured Core, Megaman, etc because you just need to remember how to beat the boss or shoot the robot. I'm sure everyone has a backstory but I don't care.I'm straight up offended by the likes of RE and MGS because they're so aggressively stupid and timewasting.

I don’t even know that much. I like offensive magic, I like healing, I like fast weapons that rack up damage in seconds which is why in DS3 I’ve got Sharp Sellsword Twinblades maxed out and work with lightning miracles and heals. Buffs in DS3 are pretty dumb imo, I don’t notice a major difference with them even when I’m stacking Sacred Oath and Deep Protection, but they’re funny to cast anyway before boss fights because it builds dramatic tension.

DSII is my favorite Dark Souls, SOTFS edition of course. It’s the one I have the most significant portion of hours in when it comes to my Souls playtime. If you get far enough you can actually rape the game to where you can practically get infinite levels.
