@LukeAlmighty I hate multiverse garbage. It’s like the creators have no imagination to explore this current world, so they want to remake something in a sort of deja vu scenario. The new Starfield video game does this…you have a whole universe (lol) to explore, but the stupid Marvel-obsessed nihilist writers just made it a multiverse story where you repeat your actions, basically. :gura_pain:

Connected universes were a mistake to begin with. It effectually means to you watch shit you no interest in to understand one movie. with each film the process becomes more tedious and confusing to follow to point the writers stop cared and even the movies start contradicting themselves. And once the people making the films stop caring, the audiences stop cared. Any effort put in keeping up is made a waste.

@LodedDiaper That is bullshit though.As you said in your comment, tha problem begins, when the writers stop caring, but as we saw with other franchises like Star Trek, this process was held for a fucking 39 years.And yes, it does force you to watch shit you care less about, but that is a good thing from their point. And it does increase the value ov good movies exponentially, since they can use much longer storytelling.

@icedquinn @RehnSturm256 BTW, this is actually the thing that made me fall in love with Skyrim.I had an extreme dificulty mod installed, so there was no chance of fighting a dragon in 2nd story mission.So..... If you don't do story missions, there are several reactions.1) The world doesn't mention you as the "dragonborn". You are just a gigachad.2) You cannot do main story, so you have to do sidequests instead. That leads to EXTREME IMMERSION. Especially, when you cannot fight anywhing stronger then a guard.3) I realized, that the game literally is split between a true RPG, and a GOD power fantasy. And most people have never seen the first half.

Same, I did a playthrough in Skyrim where I didn’t learn I was Dragonborn as well, and it made the game more enriching as you accomplish things based more on your own merit and the game’s skills. I loved it, and was willing to forgo using Shouts and fighting dragons for that better experience :blobcathero:

@icedquinn @LukeAlmighty @RehnSturm256 I tried a bunch of different combat mods, even one that gave me the ability to misc DMC attacks, but they all fall really flat since their built off of Skyrim's combat to a degree. Skyrim's combat is aggressively linear to the point of seemingly being impossible to fix without completely unending the foundation and rebuilding it.
