@lowqualityfactsFun fact: this is not that far from the truth in a a few places.The Dutch IRS is massively understaffed and rarely checks anything. People are just too scared of being one of the few that do get their filings checked. (And there's a popular myth that the IRS is expensive, which the IRS is happy to not dispel.)

People with money know this and it's why they don't pay their taxes because they have money to buy ghost traps from the Ghostbusters.Unless you're Ghouliani or Trump and make it public that you're an idiot about your money and don't pay your invoices from the Ghostbusters. Then the IRS appears like an apparition to suck away their financial souls.This is also why Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson have never had tax issues.
