The MatrixI agree the second and third films weren't as good as the original. But despite a few cringe moments, I really enjoyed the original trilogy as a complete story. @blueshiftnzThe only way I can make the recent Matrix knock-off OK is to pretend it's a parody. Like a Scary Movie or Spaceballs of late 90s cyberpunk/ virtual reality films (there were a *lot*).@RickiTarr

@lotographiaMy thoughts about the original Star Wars trilogy are pretty much the same as what I said about The Matrix. The original is a great standalone adventure film, but the overall story of the original trilogy makes it worth putting up with a bit of crime in the second and third installments.@thomasbeagle @blueshiftnz @RickiTarr

It would be a straight remake of the original, but with the genders reversed. With a paper-thin premise that allowed it to also be a sequel, with a cameo from Phoebe Cates and a digital necromancy version of Rik Mayall, like the Peter O'Toole from Rogue One.
