@stux we fostered cats a few years ago and one of those noone wanted. She had a stomach issue and was on medication that gave her diarrhoea and made her throw up. We had her for ten month until a couple showed up that had asked the exact same question.

@stux In 2012 I adopted Rabi, a senior lady cat which was very ill. The shelter took her in order for her not to die alone on the streets (they thought nobody will adopt such an ill and elder cat). It was expected for her to live about 6 months. When we bring her home she regained her self confidence and, although chronically ill, her illness was under control by our vets.She lived with us for 2 years and 4 months and had a happy and cozy life with us till she died. We miss her :ablobcatcry:
