Hello community of #Thunderbird #OpenPGP users. I'd like to know if some of you are still stuck at Thunderbird version 68 and the old #Enigmail Add-on. Is there any missing functionality in Thunderbird 115 that is still preventing you from migrating? #PGP #GPG #GnuPG @thunderbird

I have used #PGP encryption in Thunderbird in recent versions. It is built in. I don't use it often enough to say with confidence that everything works perfectly in version 115, but I believe it does.

After replying, I see that you may be asking more specifically to a sub-group of Thunderbird users.

@jackc @thunderbird How is Nostalgy++ blocking you from using a version of Thunderbird newer than 68 ?

@jackc @thunderbird Ok. To summarize, you are blocked from upgrading to the most recent version Thunderbird 115, because you are using an Add-on that is not yet compatible. However, that Add-on seems to be already compatible with stable version 102:https://addons.thunderbird.net/de/thunderbird/addon/nostalgy_ng/?src=ss(I understand that you are looking for a solution, and I hope you will get a solution soon. However, your scenario isn't directly related to the scenario I had originally asked about, TB 68 + OpenPGP.)
