       @benjancewicz I mean yes, the waste of LiPo batteries is awful, but it's not like my plug-in-earphones would survive more than a year before the cable would break at one of the stressed points near the plug. I used to buy a new pair every couple of months or have to hold the headphone cable just right to have sound on both ears.So, it hasn't gotten better but it also never was great.

       @Joram @benjancewicz funny thing is, I didn't really have this problem with my wired headphones on the various walkmans and discmans. The quality of everything just dropped over the decades.

       @benjancewicz I have the opposite experience: the cable of jack headphones always broke in a couple of weeks, a month at most, while the last headbuds I bought have lasted a year and a half.

       @bascule @benjancewicz@xro YES, earbuds are VERY GOOD, you do not need ANC (active noise canceling) in normal quiet areas.They are not expensive they last many hours and charge in a few minutes.They have different size ear plugs Small, Medium, Large⭕Im my personal case, a SONY $90 basic model is good.
