       Already have articles talking about how 90% of internet content will be janky AI generated. Can’t wait for NPCs to be programmed by AI that don’t even understand more than stats of which letter comes after another.

       @Moon the point of being an artist, at least IMO, is to seek out things that don't exist yet.  To make connections that have never been made before.  AI art can only give you a remix of things it's seen before.  So it frees up artists from having to draw every permutation of the formulaic things that already exist and instead seek out something different.  IMO.

       @Moon Basically I think there will be more artists doing "creative" stuff because being able to technically draw good is gonna be not that valuable.  More funny people, more completely off-the-wall artstyles that are better than what AI could cook up etc.  AI art will over time acquire a certain style that people will learn to recognize and be bored with.

Like humans?"It just assembled other people's works!" No it doesn't.I wonder if these were the people worried about digital art "replacing traditional mediums", or stamp brushes.

       @JAJAX@clubcyberia.co @Moon@shitposter.club I can understand the fear and anger around AI replacing artists but I think ppl have the weirdest hate boner over AI used in any capacity.It's a tool that can help you improve in the right circumstance. I saw a bunch of VAs and twitter ppl get mad at an animator for using AI voices in a Scooby Doo parody but it was just to eliminate costs and it wasnt even for profit.
