       @n8 Don't be, they suck, the only structural part of a container is the corner posts, and they're for stacking other containers on top. If you live anywhere but Cali, you're going to need insulation. Where are you going to put it? Outside? You're expanding the box and may as well build a real house. Inside? you're losing living space. You could try to do it on center, but  then you'd need to strip out the metal sheet walls so you don't have a big ol' thermal bridge in your insulation. For the same effort, the person in your image could build a normal square log cabin and get twice as much living space for 1/3 more wall. Steel is a cool building material, but shipping containers aint' it.
