       @Kyou My husky was shaved 2 years ago. Two small strips - the vet tech was looking for damage from a pit bull attack. The hair has still not grown back.

       @gpmech7 yeah dogs with undercoats can have alopecia if shaved. The husky in the pic probably was severely matted and had to go through a shave down
