I just finished a first draft of this Firefox add-on I described the other day. On GitHub project pages, it checks the license of the project and add a clearly visible label indicating if it is an Open Source license.Still a lot of work to do (including loading and analyzing custom licenses), but it is coming along nicely.

@galdor Tested it on a dozen of repos w/ a mixed bag of OSI approved license and otherwise and it worked as expected ✅ Lovely ❤️

@bahmanm This is good to know, thank you! I will publish it as soon as I write the code for custom license identification (including the dreaded BSL, Elastic, etc.).

@galdor I've never played around w/ FF extensions and would like to dip my toes.If you think you can off-load some of the work, just create an issue and I'll take it from there.

@louis Yes next step is analyzing licenses which were not identified by GitHub. Then I’ll publish the first version.Thank you for this example btw, I’m taking note of the fact that some license files are names “LICENSE-<something>”.
