       Can someone explain to me why shotgun shells are the only ammunition to come in a bright, safety red package? What was the designer of shotgun shells thinking differently when he went, "wait a minute- this shit explodes! We have to warn people!"

       @dogweapon well first they're plastic (formerly cardboard) as opposed to metal which you wanna keep bare for less friction and better thermal exchangesecond I think the color is really more useful for picking them on the ground in the forest where careless hunters just let them lay around
