       My current micro-obsession is the original score album for Across the Spider-Verse - in particular Gwen Stacey's theme, best demonstrated by track 5, Guggenheim AssembleEverything about that movie is so good, but the music is 💯

       @simon How Pemberton weaves that theme together with the aggressive, synthy Spiderman 99 theme and a freaking opera singer completely seamlessly is absolutely incredible. And there's so many more musical styles in the movie. Score of the year for me, by a long margin.

       @timbecillus right, the whole thing is just astonishing! I watched a bit of a making of video and there were opera singers and scratch DJs and a full orchestra working together on that

       @simon I've somehow unintentionally trained Youtube. If I get distracted and leave it alone it tends to auto-play Gwen's theme.I am not unhappy with this outcome.
