A lot of small towns I've passed through in Nevada have one road in or out so blocking it means no emergency services, which could be viewed as attempted manslaughter if there was a prosecutor based enough.

I've been through Nevada numerous times and, on tribal land or not, the cops do not fuck around. I consider myself lucky for making it out of Lovelock free and unharmed. I have a theory that desert folk tend to be more bellicose.
