@orbitalmartian Yes, but there is no vaild reason for using the 2 options you presented Emacs is always the right answer, and the ONLY answer!

@orbitalmartian I use nvim but only because it has a team rather than one person, my config is still in vimscript.

@orbitalmartian I use both, I mostly use nvim for development and as an IDE, but I still have a customised vim setup that I use for opening large files, or cases where I need the editor to feel faster (such as scrollback editor in tmux/zellij).
