       What are some things you wish you could do with your old phones or tablets?Repurposing an old phone or tablet can be a great way to get new life out of it rather than letting it collect dust in a drawer.Many people turn their old devices into things like security cameras, baby monitors, game consoles, media players, servers, etc. I myself have repurposed old tablets into a smart home hub and an Android Automotive headunit for my car.

       If you've ever wanted to reuse your old Android device and want it do something specific, my developer friend @deadman96385 is looking for inspiration on a new project. For example, maybe a GSI that boots straight into Kodi if you want to turn an old device into a dedicated media center. Let us know if you have any ideas!

       @salt it's honestly not worth the effort, lolIt was just for fun. There are so many caveats involved that it's more practical to just install Headunit Reloaded on a regular tablet.But if you're still curious, LineageOS supports AAOS build targets for some devices like the Tab S5e: https://lineageos.org/Changelog-26/

       @MishaalRahman I use my Nexus 7 (2013) tablet to this day thanks to Touch Portal. It's like a stream deck alternative, but I don't just use it while streaming, it's become essential to me any time I'm on my desktop PC. https://www.touch-portal.com/ #TouchPortalAs for what I wish I could do with old phones... I honestly don't know. I feel they're better off sitting in my drawer because they are to be "Plan B" in the event that my wife breaks/shatters her phone screen.
