       I imagine you could implement an MPI like system using a custom 9p server, each node is mounted together and message passing is just done by writing to a ctl file or something

       @sysrq I've been slacking in this regard. I understand how to set up lx, but I also don't want to redo the p9p stuff on any purposed computers right now so I need to do it in vm's first. And before that on my list is an external server which is connected and easily-reached by the networked system... and I'm still confused about how I'm gonna do the auth server for that cuz I don't want an auth server in a datacenter or cloud.
