       @todayilearned a battery is "a group of two or more cells" , it's a 9 volt battery because it contains 6 1.5V cells

       @todayilearned Those are AAAA cells. A 9V battery can also have a stacked structure internally in which the cells are rounded rectangles (bricks). Yes, I have unwisely dismantled 9V batteries and I do not recommend it.
