       The Grand HotelTraveling to the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island seems as if you step back in time 125 years or so. The hotel was finished the end of the 19th Century, little has changed since. Arriving on Mackinaw Island via boat you are picked up at the dock in a horse drawn carriage. This will then take you the short distance up to the fabulous entrance to the hotel shown here.
