@randahl Do you know if that approvement include sending those “birds” as they are? Or will they need to be downgraded first…pretty sure all Danish and Dutch F-16s got the mid life update as a minimum. Not the same plane as purchased 40 years ago.

@fence67 I have not seen any news mentioning a downgrade of the F-16's transferred to Ukraine.I would be surprised, if they are downgraded, as they are being replaced by the much never technologies of the F-35A Lightning II.

@randahl 👍 I was not being totally clear; my concern is that - due to “industrial concerns” certain - and vital upgrades would be removed should the Ukrainian F-16s to be fall in Russian hands for analysis.

@jenselbaek I am not aware of any discussions related to naval equipment. I would be very surprised if the allies provide larger vessels like the Danish frigates. The price would simply be too steep, and that kind of money would be better spent on the land war vehicles, artillery, HIMARS ammunition etc. But I am not the expert here, so I will be very interested in hearing what Anders Puck has to say.@anderspuck
