@starsstorm Of the year as in 2023 or the school year that is just now starting?Former would be a pretty good result.I cut days off of my daughter’s cold recently by getting her elderberry syrup right away. The cold was much milder and at least two days shorter than it would have been without the syrup (based on other colds she’s had). I’m impressed because I don’t usually believe that natural remedies (or any cold remedies) work, but this did.

@Cousin_Isobel @starsstorm Elderberry syrup, good stuff. https://www.handmadeapothecary.co.uk/elderberry-rob-syrupI keep a bottle of Astragalus in and Kaloba tablets. He is inclined to catch bugs at school, smokes too, which doesn’t help, I rarely catch anything.

@polarisera @HebrideanHecate @starsstorm Maybe, or maybe people just react differently. I think part of what helped shorten the duration is that the syrup reduced symptoms so much that she could easily get plenty of sleep at night and her body could heal itself.

@Cousin_Isobel @HebrideanHecate @starsstorm I was a around a very covid-like bad cold (doctor tested, not covid) this summer in close quarters. I took the "immunity" powder pack every single day (expensive one). I still got the very bad cold. And it was almost as bad as the covid. The one thing I didn't have with me and didn't buy was ZINC. I usually take zinc with colds/flu. I'll never travel without zinc

@polarisera @HebrideanHecate @starsstorm I’m sorry it was so bad. I got this syrup. I don’t know if it’s people who are different or the exact virus. I just know I was impressed.
