Does anybody know why the #ansible module in #cloudinit would get ignore when provisioning a VM or VPS?

@dragnucs Is Ansible installed in the VM's image? Are there any errors in the various cloud-init logs?

@johanneskastl I couldn't not understand most error messages, but where there should be error messages about ansible, I found none.I tested with fedora 38 and almalinux 9. Ansible is not instaleld by default, thus I install it using cloud-init itsels with "package"' module. At last, I just made a dumb runcmd to clone the repo and run the playbook.

@dragnucs maybe add a simple "which ansible-playbook" as a runcmd? Also not sure about the order, I have seen funny disturbed orders (i.e. not the order in the cloud data...)

@dragnucs That was my guess, yes.
