TIL, the sun in our solar system, Sol, is not a member of any constellation. Constellations are categorized by their shape as perceived from our solar system. Therefore, for Sol to be a member of a constellation we would need to travel to another star system to perceived the new "shape".https://www.universetoday.com/18719/sun-constellation-1/#:~:text=The%20simple%20answer%20is%20that,Sun%20te…https://www.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/15yvnc9/til_the_sun_in_our_solar_system_sol_is_not_a/

@todayilearned 🙋🏻🙋🏻🙋🏻Scientists here, can elucidate!Yes. The sun evaporates at nightfall. Needless to say the sun is thus imperceptible, and thus cannot be a component of any stellar constellation in the firmament. Because for constellations to be, they must be readily apparent to human vision.Hence the sun is NOT a constellation.
