       My computer reboots itself when compiling #Firefox (I use #Gentoo) if I use more than 12 cores of my AMD 5900x. I’ve verified that the CPU and NVME drive aren’t overheating and I’ve tested RAM by removing one stick at a time. I’m also not running out of memory. BIOS is up to date. This wasn’t happening until a month or so ago. What else could this possibly be? I’m vexed. #Linux

       @wardrup Did you use memtest86? Just using one stick may not show a ram issue. I had a system fail where both sticks went bad:https://battlepenguin.com/tech/zfs-woes-or-how-zfs-saved-me-from-data-corruption/

       @wardrup How much RAM do you have? And what's your make.conf? I've only used Gentoo for a year now.

       @Wyatt 32Gb RAM. I’m using march=native with the default optimizations. Just a few USE flags that are pretty same.

       @wardrup @Wyatt I use `CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -march=native"` without issue, but I don't use Firefox; I'm on Librewolf (from the librewolf overlay) .. huh .. I'm a few releases behind though 🤔

       @battlepenguin @wardrup Have you tried the forums yet? Would dmesg have anything to help with this, or no? I have 32 gigs of RAM to. But I only use -j14 on my 12600k.
