       I know we shouldn't be writing code that runs into problems after a given date, but having done some quick calculations and worked out that the earliest this code would have trouble is in the year 6108, I think I can get away with it.(If nothing else, I am unlikely to be around for someone to pull this toot out and complain about it then 😀)
