       Good morning America is talking about how there is only 1 car in the US selling for under 20k. How people are falling behind on car payments and how high interests rates are. Average USED car price is 27k. Every time I look at getting a new EV or Hybrid, I get to the payments screen and I'm like nope that's insane. I've never owned a new car and I don't know if I ever will if prices keep going up.

       @PhilGastwirth unfortunately the only decently priced EV right now is either a Tesla or a Chevy bolt euv

       @PhilGastwirth The challenge with EVs is demand, and they don’t retain much value because of battery wear. They also have their own carbon footprint and other environmental concerns with battery manufacturing. I hate the idea of getting gasoline powered cars but it’s a tough decision.

       @PhilGastwirth I have a used 2019 Hyundai Ioniq and it was well worth it, but I also got it for $19k.
