honestly this helsinkin dual-language-ing of everything seriously sucks? you want to go to a tram stop and you basically have to memorize both names because the moment you get a glimpse of a name, it may only be the swedish one which can be very different from the finnish one, you just can't make impulse decisions because the tram is showing you a name and you kinda don't even know if it's just a swedish name or a finnish name of a different stop (ok, to be fair, even the most basic level of familiarity with both languages will make you able to recognize which one is which), i don't think it serves any other purpose but to confuse things

@DiegoBeghin isn't it two more similar languages there?

@pony @DiegoBeghin Both French and Dutch are indo-european, so I guess they're more similar, but let me reassure you, they're differnet enough to mess up your trip

@sfsworms @DiegoBeghin or maybe it's more dangerous as possibly you can confuse a dutch name for french one? with swedish and finnish, you can almost always tell without having to speak either language
