@stux i get bagels every week and the size and shape is a crap shoot so at least here they are not 100% affected. as for McDonald’s pickles are Satan’s work, so I never eat them anyway.

@stux I'm actually happy that shrinkflation impacted the one thing: the size of toilet paper rolls.I can actually fit them in my wall holder again now, instead of having to use them until they were small enough to fit.

@stux Well, it has one benefit: people likely eat less calories per serving now.Don't forget that food portions also increased enormously over the years.

@stux I’m fairly certain this has been going on for a while now. It’s gotten worse over the Pandemic, but that’s just because food prices overall are up ~20% - 40%

@stux Years ago I noted that the iced tea brand Honest Tea had a huge dimple in the bottom of their bottle, so it looked like the other soft drink bottles but was much smaller.
