@adam my Surface Pro 8 (16 GB RAM, came with Windows 11 preinstalled) is rock solid and tested successfully on the road by me, including with Rode USB mic, when I was travelling this yearcurrently latest model is Surface Pro 9if you have Surface Pro 7, you might want to upgrade to Surface Pro 9, just order 16 GB RAM minimum Surface Pro 9 is fine, I was only disappointed that 5G reserved to ARM processor not for Intel Surface Pro 10 might come in October so maybe you can wait till then
