@figmentjedi My concern was more "we're going to do the grifty TCG thing from day one" that bothered me the most, and seeing the "collectable community" (read: people who want to make money) onboard on day one.It just feels like there's no real interest in an interesting game here, just money.

@figmentjedi @hastin TCGs are no longer about playing the game. That's a 100% afterthought.It was depressing watching SOTMK players 'play' the game by simply just holding up a photo of their binder to a random 3x3 page to cast an attack. They had to modify a lot to prevent people cheesing for free cards.

@TheChrisGlassEven Pokémon when it first came out was about collected the holographic cards. The game was a bonus for the lame cards. @figmentjedi @hastin

@PhilGastwirth @figmentjedi @hastin It was here in the states because of WOTC. In Japan, all packs included a holo.But I played in leagues for the first year or two. Only in later years did it get STUPID with the *vast majority* just buying them to collect.
