       @Iconfactory I found a bug in Tot, at least on macOS Sonoma. If I'm on a dot, then choose the “Compact Dots…" menu and it replaces the contents of the dot I'm looking at, the dot’s contents aren’t updated on the screen unless I switch to another dot and then back.If I edit the dot before it's updated, my edits overwrite the updates. The new content is gone forever.

       @Iconfactory For example, say I'm on empty dot 1. Dot 2 contains text. I chose “Compact Dots...", which should move the text from 2 to the empty 1. But the dot still shows as empty. If I switch to another dot and back to 1, I'll see the text that use to be in 2 but got shifted to 1 during the compaction. If I don't do that, and I type anything into the empty 1, the content that use to be in 2 is gone unless I dig into the backups.
