       @kir I usually have under 1500 search requests per month and I search a lot. So that would be $10/month. Since I was a member from the beginning I'm still running a legacy plan with unlimited searches.One of their prime features is that you can up/downrank and even block domains in the search results while you are scrolling through the results. This way I could get rid of all the spam that is polluting the indexes of Google and Bing.They have a Discord and the dev team is very open and transparent about what they are currently doing. They regularly ask and discuss with their users beforehand. Zero ads, full privacy, some degree of google-bing index independence and supporting a small startup of bright people - that is worth $10 for me. @brokenix

       @brokenix DDG, but I try to rely less on it by trying Mojeek first. One of the reasons I'm so hooked on DDG are bang shortcuts — this even got proposed to Mojeek, but won't be implemented and for very good reasons: it's best to have other search engine as search plugins in your browser, this way you'll stay less reliant on your main one. So this is what I'm trying to do currently — add all things I've been using as alternatives, a lot of websites don't make it as easy as pressing a single button, I have to add them manually and desktop Firefox isn't making it easy :marseyeyeroll2:
