@EU_Commission there's a problem with the prices of trains in #EU. While it is cheaper for a #family of four to get a #car and move around than using the #train, things won't change.

@EU_Commission I just went from that page to the Mobility Strategy, and... what can I say... I see digital this, automation that, smart something, and most of all zero-emission everything... buzzwords... zero-emission cars, marine vessels, even aircrafts... those do not exist, and never will. That's basic physics: the only zero-emission transport is the one not done.Please pretty please unfuck your head before it's too late: the most effective means of reducing emission is reducing transport.

@EU_Commission and also, please stop putting all the burden on citizens: use this, stop doing that, but do eco-that,... Make it easy and affordable, and people will do it.For example, if it's easy and affordable to book an international train trip, people will do it. But if it's much cheaper and easier to take a plane, like it is now, guess what will happen ? Basic socio-economics, really.

@EU_Commission I would love to be able to travel between where I live (Denmark) and my home country (Portugal) by train. Not only would I get to see the sights of Europe, but I wouldn't have to take a plane.However, the current state of train travel across countries in the eu is absolutely abysmal. We need better connected, affordable, high speed trains.

@EU_Commission Great! But everyone who already does cross border travel by train wishes it would be more convenient. I applaud the extra night train connections on existing rail, but I miss the opening or reopening of new cross border rail connections. I don’t expect grand HSR connections all across Europe, I do wish to see a lot more smaller extra cross border connections.
