       @anders What's the problem, are you not seeing emojis from other instances, or are you trying to use an emoji you don't have on your instance?

       @anders Your server should be fetching those automatically, so it's probably worth looking into in case whatever's causing it is also causing other problems (and also just because you probably want to see the pictures).

       @downey @JohanEmpa They should? I thought I had to install them on my own server and that was why I didn’t see them. Some troubleshooting to do then. Thanks!

       @anders The install is only needed if you want to send them in posts and optionally have them appear in the picker list.

       @anders Start by looking in Administration > Custom emojis. Normally lots of remote emojis are visible. By default they should be enabled. If you see them you can try to copy one of them to your own instance, just to test if that works. :flan_hacker:
