       Just went to my neighbours to fix the TV for a second time today :bloblaugh: They have an antenna signal instead of tv via internet cable but it kinda sucks with all the downtime and issuesThey asked me to do their whole home rewiring since a mechanic would costs a few hundred bucks.. :amaze: So soon i'll fix their old wires and make sure it's fixed for good :ed_grin: Sad to see how telecom companies take such advantace of elderly people who just don't knowNot while I'm here :nkoHammer:

       @stux an elderly neighbor of mine had a service outage, his internet and satellite TV were through the same company. He had me check and his modem had completely fried. When they set it up the plunged a signal amplifier into the USB port on the modem, technician tried to argue with me on  the phone but finally got them out and the problem fixed.

       @BsCreativeLife She does! They are always happy if i come by :nkoHappy: And they keep apologizing over and over but i keep saying it's a nice way for me to come by every now and than 😁 (since they are on age already we keep an eye out on them to be sure)

       @stux in my world trades will knowingly use cheap parts, especially if a brand is going out of business (or name changing), for new homes. Then when the parts inevitably fail, another trade person will be required to fix for hundreds of dollars an hour. If you buy new parts from them, markup will be 300-400%. This scam is perfectly legal and protected. Artists, spending months on their work, are not respected and need to give their work away. Example, free books!
