@furgar it's important to cultivate opinions from people that are extreme on all ends, so you can be calibrated to the bullshit being perpetuated to each demographic. They're all being lied to, and they all think their sources aren't lying to them. The key is to be able to spot how the lie(s) influence(s) their perspective, and act accordingly.it's actually *more* important to surround yourself on social media with as many different flavors of people that disagree with you as possible.

@anornymorse I'm starting to think that belief to be a psyop to give bad actors a platform to take up our limited mind space. I just mainly block people who I feel are a waste of time. The more varied experiences you have or hear of from others, the more you realize how complex the world is and how over-simplified most ideologies are. Then the bickering in the media is revealed to be so extremely shallow that you can’t even stand hearing it anymore. We mostly argue over trivialities reflected in funhouse mirrors.
