       in some cases, the reports i get for berserker.town are of the "i don't like his political views and therefore he is a troll" kind. not that we care what political views you have, as long as you're civil about expressing them.

       @thor@berserker.town It's kinda worrying how much less people, particularly a lot of social media moderators, would defend others' free expression when it's online. It's not just banning the bad actors advocating for truly dangerous ideas like genocide or pedophilia, but also innocent people, who only happen to believe in different ideas. I don't want this to go on and erode the right to free expression in real-life. Of course, it's also the fault of free-speech absolutists, who don't care if what they say is infringing on another's liberties (Ex: Doxxing, Violent harrassment). They just want to be free to be dicks.
