Hello, @apps .UP-FCM seems to be 'smooth' cause it does not need a constant notification like ntfy.However, it works a couple of minutes, but unfortunately, most of the times it fails.Why don't you add Google Play services as a choice?

@apps Dont want to be rude or anything but notifications work perfectly fine with Tusky, out of the box with no need for any third party notification service.Please dont block me for mentioning other Mastodon apps 🥺

@appsF-Droid users like me do. If F-Droid Fedilab versions give a choice to use Google Play Services like it is to Google Playstore version, that'd be an awesome idea!

@ASPSorry, Tusky and Fedilab (both) give the choice to fetch notifications every fifteen minutes, and it is ok. The point of this is that one and the other need a third party app for live push notifications.👇👇👇🙄Ahhh, and don't worry so much! Nobody will block you to say that you use Tusky...🤣🤣🤣@apps

@Piky_@Nieves @apps Thank you for your reassurance 🙂As far as I know, Tusky does not need any additional app/background service to handle notifications. On the other hand, its not possible to modify the interval at which notifications are fetched.

@ASP @Nieves If you use the Google Play version it's a normal behavior. Fedilab does the same. We are talking about the Fdroid versions.
